Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain necessary certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and deliver therapy from a strengths-based perspective
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students as outlined in their IEPs
  • Administer and interpret formal and informal assessments to determine students’ needs
  • Design and implement effective therapy plans targeting a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Maintain detailed, timely records in accordance with school and district policies
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to ensure positive outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Offer strategies to families and teachers to support students’ communication goals outside therapy sessions
