This assignment runs from ASAP through May 12th, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule of 7.5 hours per day. You’ll be part of a supportive team of professionals and report directly to the Lead SLP.
Bring your expertise to a single campus, assisting approximately 55 students with diverse needs. Your work will provide vital communication support that sets students up for success both in the classroom and beyond.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and therapy teams
- Exceptional communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Strong initiative and adaptability in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, screenings, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy in accordance with IEP goals
- Track progress and maintain accurate student records
- Provide consultative support to teachers, families, and school staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages student growth
