Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience working with students in grades K–12 preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K–12
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy tailored to student goals
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom success and generalization of skills
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, utilizing evidence-based practices
