Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP
  • Prior experience working with students in grades K–12 preferred
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs
  • Familiarity with IEP development and progress tracking

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in grades K–12
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy tailored to student goals
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support classroom success and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups, utilizing evidence-based practices
