Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Prior experience with K–12 student populations preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools and therapy techniques for a variety of age groups
- Compassionate interpersonal skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and related documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students, identify speech and language disorders, and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct therapy services to students in grades K-12, adapting approaches for developmental needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate communication strategies into the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide updates on student progress, and contribute to goal-setting
- Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices and regulatory changes
