Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active state licensure in speech-language pathology (or eligible)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status considered
  • Prior experience in educational settings preferred, including work with elementary populations
  • Strong foundation in pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other specialists
  • Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy to K-4 students
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized treatment plans
  • Develop and update IEPs, maintain compliant documentation, and participate in meetings
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication needs
  • Monitor student progress, adapting interventions as needed to ensure success
