Take your expertise in speech-language pathology to the next level with a rewarding contract opportunity serving K-12 students throughout the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. Multiple SLP positions are open, including both full-time (7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week) and a .7 FTE placement, providing flexibility tailored to your preferences. You’ll work on-site with school-aged learners in a vibrant educational setting that values collaborative support and quality intervention.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP-CCC designation required
- Possess active Washington SLP licensure, plus ESA certification
- Must complete fingerprinting process through OSPI prior to assignment
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students across K-12 grades
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students’ progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining timely and accurate records
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams addressing student needs
- Manage a caseload averaging between 48-60 students, with a clear understanding of workload expectations
