Multiple openings are available, including full-time schedules (37.5 hours/week) and a .7 position to suit your career plans.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid WA Speech-Language Pathologist License
  • ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
  • Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to the start date
  • SLP-CCC preferred; school-based SLP experience highly valued
  • Comfortable managing a K-12 caseload (typically 48-60 students per SLP)
  • Adept at developing and implementing IEPs as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Willingness to collaborate and foster positive relationships with students, families, and school staff

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Complete comprehensive speech-language assessments as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of personalized educational plans
  • Monitor and document student progress; maintain accurate records
  • Engage in consultation with teachers and staff to promote carryover of skills into the classroom
  • Adhere to all state, district, and ethical standards related to school-based speech therapy
