Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current or eligible for Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure as an SLP in Washington state
  • Experience working in school settings, healthcare, or pediatrics preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families
  • Commitment to creating individualized plans tailored to each student’s needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students, as needed
  • Provide direct therapy services on-site and support ongoing progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and compliance requirements
  • Serve as a resource to the school community for speech-language concerns
