Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work independently
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and familiarity with a variety of communication disorders

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel between multiple school sites as an itinerant SLP to deliver direct and indirect services to students with communication needs
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and participate actively in IEP meetings
  • Provide intervention and therapy individually or in small groups according to students’ needs
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to support student progress and generalization of skills
  • Keep accurate records, progress notes, and comply with all documentation requirements
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to best serve diverse student populations
