Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Powell, TN

Step into a dynamic, county-wide role providing crucial speech-language services to students across multiple campuses as an itinerant SLP. This full-time, contract position begins as soon as possible and extends through the end of the school year, offering an engaging schedule and the rewarding experience of supporting diverse student populations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently while managing a flexible, itinerant schedule
• Comfort traveling between locations within the county
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Dedication to evidence-based practice and individualized student support

Primary Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide therapeutic services for students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other service providers to best support student needs
• Documentation of services, progress, and participation in eligibility meetings as required
• Educate and consult with school staff to strengthen classroom communication strategies
• Prioritize student-centered care while adapting to a multi-site schedule
