Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Prairieville, Louisiana

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure and ASHA certification required
• Experience working in school settings is an advantage, though not mandatory
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for engaging and supporting pediatric populations, from early learners through elementary age

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication delays or disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress in a school-based setting
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support carryover of speech-language strategies in the classroom and at home
• Document all services provided in accordance with school and district protocols
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and school initiatives as needed
