Make a meaningful difference for students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite in a supportive educational environment. This contract role spans the academic year, serving primarily elementary and middle school students with a manageable caseload and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current SLP (ASHA) license in Alabama.
  • Possess or be eligible for an Alabama professional educator license (information available at the Alabama Teacher Certification Portal).
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship accepted; CCCs preferred and may have supervisory responsibilities.
  • Experience in school-based settings highly valued.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Capacity to adapt between working at one or occasionally two school sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language services for a caseload of approximately 60 students.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs.
  • Deliver direct therapy and collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to foster student success.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
  • If holding CCCs, supervise clinical fellows as assigned.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as needed.
