Pediatric School Speech Pathology | Presque Isle, Maine

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Hold or be eligible for SLP Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP); SLP-CFY applicants are also encouraged to apply
• Active (or eligible) state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience or strong interest in pediatric and school-based SLP services
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic speech, language, and communication services to district students in preschool through high school
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student’s unique needs and IEP goals
• Assess, monitor, and document student progress in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing clear input on student needs and present levels of performance
• Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure continuity of care and maximize student success
• Provide guidance and mentorship to SLP-CFYs, if applicable
