Key Qualifications:

  • Valid SLP license or eligibility in Maryland
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
  • Experience with school-aged populations (K-12) desirable
  • Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and organization abilities
  • Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language services to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade
  • Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the special education team
  • Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff
  • Adapt therapy techniques to best address student needs and meet district standards
