Key Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license or eligibility in Maryland
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates welcome
- Experience with school-aged populations (K-12) desirable
- Skilled in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
- Collaborative approach with teachers, parents, and school staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students in kindergarten through twelfth grade
- Conduct evaluations and maintain accurate documentation
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the special education team
- Communicate progress and strategies to families and staff
- Adapt therapy techniques to best address student needs and meet district standards
