Bring your expertise and passion for communication to an engaging in-person role supporting students' growth and learning. This contract opportunity runs from the beginning of February through June 14th, allowing you to make a meaningful difference throughout the remainder of the academic year. You’ll provide Speech-Language Pathology services, working directly with students in a dynamic, supportive school setting near Princeton, MN.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in Minnesota
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in school settings is preferred
- Solid understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and therapeutic intervention
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct in-person therapy services to students, adjusting strategies to meet diverse needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school-based professionals
- Monitor student progress, document interventions, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Serve as a resource on communication disorders and strategies for classroom staff
