A vibrant school community near Princeton, MN is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services as a long-term substitute at the elementary school level. This position begins in October and spans approximately 10 weeks full-time, transitioning to two days per week thereafter—ideal for a flexible professional seeking impactful, ongoing work.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as an SLP in Minnesota
- Strong background in school-based and/or pediatric speech-language therapy
- Experience collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students, focusing on individualized goals and evidence-based interventions
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and maintain required documentation
- Work closely with teachers and special education staff to support student achievement
- Communicate progress and strategies to parents and caregivers
- Engage in consultation and collaboration with other professionals across disciplines
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, transitioning from a 10-week full-time assignment to part-time responsibilities two days per week
