Key Qualifications:

  • Current license or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or candidates eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience or strong interest in serving school-aged children, particularly those with behavioral challenges
  • Expertise in conducting comprehensive speech-language assessments and implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload of K-8 students with severe behavioral needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with teachers, families, and other service providers
  • Use data-driven practices to ensure measurable progress in students' communication skills
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide support to staff as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment, and contribute creatively to student success throughout the year
