Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience or strong interest in working with severe, behavioral needs
  • Willingness/ability to participate in safety care training (provided)
  • Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desirable
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative team approach
  • Comfortable working year-round within a school setting

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with complex communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
  • Provide direct and consultative services as part of a supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, safety care training, and professional development
  • Maintain accurate therapy records and document student progress
