Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience or strong interest in working with severe, behavioral needs
- Willingness/ability to participate in safety care training (provided)
- Previous experience in school or pediatric settings highly desirable
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a collaborative team approach
- Comfortable working year-round within a school setting
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with complex communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Provide direct and consultative services as part of a supportive learning environment
- Participate in staff meetings, safety care training, and professional development
- Maintain accurate therapy records and document student progress
