Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Providence, RI

You’ll manage an elementary caseload and may occasionally travel to a nearby community center within the district, allowing you to gain diverse experience and make a difference in multiple settings. Collaboration with teachers, families, and other support staff is central to delivering comprehensive services and ensuring student growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
• Enrollment in Rhode Island Medicare program (requirement for this role)
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work full time for the entire contract period
• Willingness to travel between sites as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and document services in compliance with school and district standards
• Provide support and resources to school staff and families regarding strategies and progress
• Participate in meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary teams
