School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Providence, Rhode Island

You'll work full time, 37.5 hours each week, providing services to a dynamic caseload in a supportive educational environment located near the Providence, RI area. The role welcomes SLPs holding a CCC, enthusiastic new graduates pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and professionals with strong experience in school settings.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in Rhode Island
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience or comfort working with high school-aged students
• Solid grasp of IEP process and documentation
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments for high school students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans addressing a range of communication needs
• Work closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to support student goals
• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation for compliance and IEP reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff consultations as needed
