Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Providence, Rhode Island

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome to apply.
• Prior experience in pediatric settings, schools, or healthcare environments preferred.
• Comfortable providing teletherapy as well as in-person services.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative nature.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster student progress.
• Document assessments, ongoing therapy notes, and progress reports in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines.
• Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting to the evolving needs of your caseload.
• Stay current on best practices and emerging research in pediatric speech-language pathology.
