Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Rhode Island
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY)
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Passion for empowering students through individualized therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver therapy sessions both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed therapy logs, progress notes, and documentation as required by district and state guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
