We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join a highly supportive school team in Providence, Rhode Island. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with students with significant needs while collaborating with experienced educators and related service providers in a positive and team-oriented environment.
Position Highlights
- 4–5 days per week

Responsibilities
- Evaluate students and develop individualized physical therapy plans
- Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services in accordance with IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, support staff, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
- Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications as needed
Qualifications
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Rhode Island Physical Therapist license
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- Experience working with students with significant or complex needs is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to complete Safety-Care Training (provided by the school)
- Ability to support students with varying physical, behavioral, and medical needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $40.38 to $60.38. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
