Full-Time | 37.5 Hours/Week | Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a highly supportive team serving students ages 5–22. This position offers a year-round schedule and the opportunity to work with students who have complex communication and behavioral needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and consultation.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
- Serve students with severe and behavioral needs across a variety of disabilities.
- Provide individual and/or small-group speech and language services.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from a regionally accredited institution.
- Rhode Island Speech-Language Pathology licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with students with complex communication and behavioral needs preferred.
- Must be comfortable completing Safety-Care training.
- Strong communication, patience, flexibility, and teamwork skills.
