Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong CFs may be considered
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy for a diverse student population

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
  • Provide support and resources for classroom teachers regarding communication strategies
