Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong CFs may be considered
- Prior experience in a school-based setting highly desirable
- Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing therapy for a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s goals
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Provide support and resources for classroom teachers regarding communication strategies
