Speech Language Pathologist in Putnam, CT

We're seeking a dedicated individual with experience in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) roles to support students for the full academic year on a full-time basis. This contract position provides the chance to work closely with a collaborative team and contribute meaningfully to student success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SLP or SLPA credential appropriate for school settings
• Experience providing speech and language therapy in a school environment preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with teachers, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Adaptability and a problem-solving mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments and intervention to students with speech and language needs
• Collaborate with educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Engage in ongoing communication with parents, teachers, and specialists regarding student progress
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to enhance student support strategies
