School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Puyallup, Washington

Two maternity leave coverages are available: one full-time position from September 4th to January 31st, and a part-time assignment (2 days per week) available immediately through the end of the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Active (or eligibility for) state licensure as an SLP
• At least one year of recent experience in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Provide direct, evidence-based therapy for speech and language disorders
• Write progress notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative educational planning
