Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP state license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, although strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Previous experience in school settings is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams, students, and families
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments to determine eligibility and monitor student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote optimal student outcomes
- Document and report on student performance following state and district protocols
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
