Make a meaningful impact while advancing your career as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational setting near Puyallup, WA during the 2026-2027 school year. Work onsite with K-12 students and collaborate with a supportive multidisciplinary team to help young learners reach their communication goals. This contract opportunity runs from September 1, 2026, through June 23, 2027, offering 37.5 hours per week in a rewarding academic environment.

Qualifications:

  • Current or eligible Washington SLP licensure, with willingness to complete fingerprinting through OSPI if not already done
  • Possession of Washington ESA certification or willingness to obtain
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience or interest in serving K-12 students within a school environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
  • Commitment to onsite only service provision

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate students’ communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement IEP goals and adapt strategies for classroom success
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation of progress and related activities
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and professional development as needed
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging therapeutic atmosphere
