Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist - Puyallup, WA

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active or eligible SLP license in Washington State
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; those completing their CFY are also encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP services strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Provide both direct therapy and consultation services in accordance with students’ IEPs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and required reports
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
