Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active or eligible SLP license in Washington State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; those completing their CFY are also encouraged to apply
- Previous experience in pediatric, healthcare, or school-based SLP services strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to collaborating with teachers, families, and other support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans tailored to student needs
- Provide both direct therapy and consultation services in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment progress, and required reports
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and families to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
