Step into an engaging contract opportunity serving the educational community, utilizing your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist within a supportive school setting. We’re seeking two dedicated professionals for the 2026-2027 school year to provide high-quality services to students and help them achieve communication success. With a moderate caseload and flexibility in age group assignments, you’ll collaborate with other specialists, educators, and families to create meaningful change in students’ daily experiences.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid SLP license in Washington State (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience providing speech/language therapy in a school environment
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50 students and adapt to varying needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to students assigned to your caseload
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success within school settings
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with federal and state regulations
  • Maintain detailed progress documentation and prepare required reports for students’ educational files
  • Consult with families and teachers to address communication concerns and strategies for classroom/home support
  • Participate in meetings, including IEPs, as required by school assignments

Position Details & Benefits:

  • Contract duration: September 2, 2026 – June 17, 2027
  • Flexible start/end times (typically 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with some variation based on school assignments and meetings
  • Caseload of around 50 students; population and age groups can align with your preferences
  • Weekly hours generally 37.5, not to exceed 40
