Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid license and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist—Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
  • Previous experience or familiarity with PreK or early childhood populations
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong collaboration skills with educators, staff, and families
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language services to PreK students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and other professionals to support student success
  • Develop, implement, and review IEPs and individualized therapy plans
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for communication disorders
  • Engage with families and caregivers, providing guidance and resources
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements
