Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current certificate of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
  • State licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Washington
  • Prior experience within a school setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams

Duties:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and provide evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and maintain thorough documentation of progress
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to support generalization of communication strategies in academic and social settings
  • Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to student needs
  • Participate in student evaluation meetings, IEP conferences, and ongoing staff development
