You'll work with a manageable caseload of 35 students, allowing you to build meaningful relationships and track measurable progress throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Active Washington SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with school-based caseloads, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement IEPs, conduct speech and language assessments, and provide engaging therapy
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to student success
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students in an onsite setting
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and report findings
- Create, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes according to school and district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to best support student goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and staff development as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices and integrate technology as appropriate
