School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Quakertown, Pennsylvania

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic school environment near Quakertown, PA. This position begins October 1, 2026, and extends through July 30, 2026. You'll provide speech-language pathology services within child care and early education settings, offering the chance to collaborate with educational teams and families to make a measurable difference in students’ lives.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Pennsylvania SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
• Experience with preschool populations (ages 3-5), including students requiring support from articulation therapy to those with limited verbal communication
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with children, families, and staff
• Understanding of IEP development and implementation in educational settings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for students on caseload (no more than 50 students)
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting diverse communication needs
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services, both individually and within small groups
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate on IEP goals for each student
• Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and progress monitoring
• Provide education to families and staff to facilitate carryover of therapy strategies

Work Schedule & Environment:

• 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM daily, with flexibility around start/end times
• Up to 37.5 hours per week; part-time availability also welcome
• Settings include East Stroudsburg and Pocono Mountain child care facilities, supporting a variety of school-based environments
