Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners, ages 3-5, within a dynamic school environment. This opportunity spans from October 1, 2026, through July 30, 2026, offering flexibility with hours—whether you can commit to a full 37.5-hour week or less, your availability will be considered. Workdays typically run from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, but adjustments can be made to fit your schedule.
As a speech-language professional, you'll play an essential role in helping students with a variety of communication needs—from those working on articulation skills to those requiring support for more limited communication. The caseload is manageable, never exceeding 50 students, ensuring you have the time and resources to truly make an impact.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Previous experience in pediatric or early childhood school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with both group and individual therapy methodologies
- Compassionate approach to supporting children with speech and communication disorders
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students aged 3-5 with varying speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams and work closely with families and caregivers
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress records
- Contribute to inclusive, creative learning environments in multiple child care settings
