Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in providing high-quality services to K-12 students, primarily within elementary grades. You’ll have the chance to work with diverse caseloads across several local schools, collaborating with dedicated educational teams and using comprehensive supports, including provided technology and a streamlined IEP system.
What makes this position distinctive is its mix of onsite and flexible hybrid opportunities—up to one day a week via Zoom. Your week will be structured around a regular school schedule, with 35 hours spanning Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, helping you maintain a rewarding work-life balance.
Ideal Background and Credentials:
- Licensed SLP with active Pennsylvania certification (CCC and/or CFY accepted)
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings focused on K-12 populations (with strong emphasis on elementary experience)
- Teletherapy experience and comfort with Zoom for hybrid service delivery
- Familiarity with school IEP systems, with willingness to learn and use the Sapphire platform
- Ability to work with a caseload of approximately 35 students per SLP
- Required experience to support MA billing
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability across multiple school assignments (elementary, intermediate, middle, high school, and some out-of-district placements)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
- Provide evidence-based therapy to students with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Document progress and complete paperwork using provided district technology and Sapphire IEP software
- Participate in IEP meetings, family consultations, and interdisciplinary collaborations
- Adapt services for teletherapy as needed
