Step into a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity where your expertise supports students across a diverse, dynamic educational community. This contract role spans the 26-27 and 27-28 academic years, with a flexible end date, giving you stability as you make an impact through evaluation and therapy services for students from kindergarten through high school—primarily focusing on K-6. Working alongside a team of three SLP professionals, you’ll enjoy a consistent Monday through Friday school schedule, dedicating 35 hours weekly to enhance student communication and learning outcomes.

Highlights of the position:

Desired Skills & Experience

  • PA Speech-Language Pathologist certification required (MA billing eligibility necessary)
  • Previous experience working in pediatric, school-based, teletherapy, or healthcare SLP roles
  • Comfortable servicing caseloads of approximately 35 students per SLP
  • Strong capacity to support K-12 students, with a primary focus on elementary grades
  • SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Adaptable to both onsite and up to one day per week of remote (Zoom-based) therapy
  • Proficient in IEP documentation; willing to use our Sapphire IEP system

Responsibilities

  • Deliver speech-language therapy and assessments within multiple school environments
  • Provide services at three elementary, one intermediate (grades 5-6), one middle (grades 7-8), and one high school (grades 9-12), plus out-of-district placements in the county
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Maintain thorough records and data using provided technology and software
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development
