A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, with 6.5 working hours each day, supporting an elementary caseload throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
- Utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices to support student communication
- Collaborate with educators and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct assessments, develop therapy goals, and implement evidence-based treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working as an SLP in pediatrics or school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
- Experience with AAC device usage required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- SLPA experience within healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory for this role
