Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) to practice in school settings
- Experience providing speech and language services in K-12 settings is highly valued
- Monolingual (English) candidates welcome; bilingual SLPs strongly encouraged
- Priority for Spanish/English bilingual professionals; additional preference for Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese language skills
- Strong communication and multicultural competence
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in K-12
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on student needs
- Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Adapt interventions to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of a diverse student population
