Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure (or eligibility) to practice in school settings
  • Experience providing speech and language services in K-12 settings is highly valued
  • Monolingual (English) candidates welcome; bilingual SLPs strongly encouraged
  • Priority for Spanish/English bilingual professionals; additional preference for Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese language skills
  • Strong communication and multicultural competence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech and language therapy to students in K-12
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans focused on student needs
  • Maintain accurate records, document interventions, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Adapt interventions to meet the linguistic and cultural needs of a diverse student population
