Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist working with a dedicated school-based team near Quincy, MA. This opportunity provides a focused caseload where you’ll help 10–14 students develop critical communication skills. The position welcomes SLPs with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) as well as Clinical Fellows (CFs) eager to gain invaluable experience.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible Massachusetts SLP license
- CCC-SLP or clinical fellow candidates encouraged to apply
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with students, families, and staff
- Passion for delivering creative, individualized interventions in educational settings
Role Highlights:
- Provide 10–14 hours of direct weekly therapy services to a manageable student caseload
- Conduct 2–4 hours per week of indirect services, including consultations, documentation, and planning
- Utilize evidence-based approaches to address a variety of speech and language challenges
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collaborate on student goals, and contribute to educational plans
- Engage with a supportive multidisciplinary team invested in student success
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, ensuring compliance with all school and state requirements
