Step into a rewarding role as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting high school students in a language-based program. This contract opportunity spans from mid-October through early January, offering a fulfilling leave coverage position. As an SLP, your expertise will help students build confidence and communication skills essential for academic and personal growth.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure and school certification (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Experience providing diagnostic and therapeutic services in a school setting, ideally at the high school level
  • Strong background working in language-based learning programs preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Your Impact and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver assessment and therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to support each student’s individualized education plan (IEP)
  • Document progress, maintain detailed records, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Support students primarily within the language-based program through targeted interventions
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive environment, helping students develop essential communication abilities

Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule, working from 7:25 am to 2:20 pm, allowing for excellent work-life balance. This is a W-2 contract role with a supportive team environment.
