Professionals holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are highly encouraged to apply, especially those fluent in both Spanish and English. Candidates with proficiency in Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese will also be considered with priority, as linguistic diversity is an asset in serving multilingual school communities. Monolingual candidates are welcome—the assignment and location details will be shared post-hire once credentialing is complete.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP-CCC credentials
- Massachusetts licensure (active or in progress)
- DESE status (either completed or in progress)
- Bilingual proficiency highly valued: Spanish/English (priority), Portuguese, Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese preferred
- Prior school-based experience serving a K-12 population is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students within a supportive school-based environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
- Advocate for students’ language and communication needs, ensuring inclusive practices
