Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a speech-language pathologist. This position offers a chance to make a direct impact, working alongside a dedicated onsite SLPA to help students strengthen their communication abilities. You’ll primarily serve a moderate articulatory caseload, providing essential speech therapy services during the school year for 35 hours each week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Valid SLP-CCC certification
- Current (or eligibility for) state licensure in Wisconsin
- Prior experience with elementary populations, particularly those with moderate articulation needs, preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Adaptability and passion for supporting student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat elementary-aged students with articulation disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, tailoring interventions to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with the onsite SLPA to coordinate therapy activities and services
- Track student progress, document session notes, and adjust strategies as necessary
- Provide guidance and resources to families and school staff for continuity of care
- Attend student meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed
