Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP-CCC certification required
- Active state licensure to practice as an SLP
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Proficiency with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Strong evaluation and testing skills
- Commitment to serving students with mild to moderate communication challenges
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to identified students in grades PreK-12
- Administer evaluations and standardized testing to assess student needs
- Develop, implement, and document Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support student progress
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and interdisciplinary team activities
- Adapt therapy methods to suit diverse learning styles and student abilities
