Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification and state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, evaluation processes, and documentation

  • Ability to work effectively with mild to moderate student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and standardized testing for students in need of speech and language services
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Provide direct therapy and intervention to mild to moderate students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to ensure coordinated support
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reports
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development activities
