Qualifications/Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CF candidates may be considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is desirable
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students' speech and language abilities using standardized tools
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Document progress and maintain records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, parents/guardians, and other professionals to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and serve as a resource for staff and families regarding communication strategies
