Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Wisconsin SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY considered
  • Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide screenings, assessments, and direct therapy services to a diverse student population
  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans
  • Document and monitor student progress, maintaining compliance with statewide regulations
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other specialists to create optimal support strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Educate staff and family members about communication disorders and recommended interventions
