Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desired
- Proficient with teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop IEPs and work closely with multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and document progress toward IEP goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences
- Provide direct and consultative services, both in-person and virtually as needed
- Offer guidance and strategies for classroom teachers and support staff
