Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for Alabama (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly desired
  • Proficient with teletherapy platforms and digital communication tools
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to develop IEPs and work closely with multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and deliver therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success
  • Maintain accurate records and document progress toward IEP goals
  • Participate in IEP meetings and case conferences
  • Provide direct and consultative services, both in-person and virtually as needed
  • Offer guidance and strategies for classroom teachers and support staff
