Qualifications:

  • Hold a current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Previous experience working in an elementary school preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and school-based documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and parents
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary school students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state guidelines
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions, both individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and interdisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Track and document student progress; update goals and records as needed
  • Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training as required
