A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work on a contract, part-time basis during the 2026-2027 school year. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional skilled in supporting diverse school-aged learners, providing essential speech and language services to students in grades Pre-K through 8th.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work with students across a range of ages and abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students onsite
- Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication needs and progress
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all documentation requirements
- Adapt therapy interventions to meet the unique needs of each student
This is a part-time opening (16-24 hours per week) for the full academic year, starting August 2026 and ending May 2027. A similar full-time opportunity is also available for those seeking a greater time commitment.
