This in-person contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with PreK through 8th-grade learners, fostering communication growth and academic success across a diverse caseload. With a flexible 16-24 hours per week schedule, you will collaborate with educators and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Experience or interest in working with PreK-8th grade populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop treatment plans and document progress in compliance with school and state regulations
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and insights
  • Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
