Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) state license
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, progress monitoring, and documentation
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Experience or interest in working with PreK-8th grade populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized therapy for students with speech and language needs
- Develop treatment plans and document progress in compliance with school and state regulations
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and participation
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear recommendations and insights
- Foster an encouraging and inclusive learning environment
