School Speech Language Pathologist - Ranburne, AL

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work on a contract, part-time basis during the 2026-2027 school year. This role is perfect for a dedicated professional skilled in supporting diverse school-aged learners, providing essential speech and language services to students in grades Pre-K through 8th.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and school-based documentation
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work with students across a range of ages and abilities

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment goals, and deliver targeted speech and language therapy to students onsite
• Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s communication needs and progress
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language development
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and comply with all documentation requirements
• Adapt therapy interventions to meet the unique needs of each student

This is a part-time opening (16-24 hours per week) for the full academic year, starting August 2026 and ending May 2027. A similar full-time opportunity is also available for those seeking a greater time commitment.
