A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the 2026–2027 school year in a welcoming school community near Rancho Cordova, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for SLPs who are passionate about helping students develop their communication abilities and thrive in a collaborative environment.

In this setting, you will work closely with a supportive special education team, providing speech and language services to a diverse school-based caseload. Case specifics will be shared during your interview to ensure the best fit for your expertise.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active California SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) preferred; Clinical Fellows also welcome to apply
  • Previous school-based experience beneficial, but not required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with educational professionals

Role Expectations:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and consult with teachers and families
  • Engage in professional development and stay current with best practices
