Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-based caseloads preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy best practices
  • California SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Commitment to cultural competence and equitable care

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for PreK students
  • Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Document therapy services and progress, ensuring compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Provide bilingual support for students and families, directly addressing linguistic and cultural needs
  • Utilize innovative techniques, including teletherapy platforms as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and engage in ongoing professional development
