What’s Needed:

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California State Speech Language Pathology license
  • Valid CTC (California Teaching Credential)
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop IEP goals, and provide speech and language therapy to students
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff, families, and other school professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain documentation in compliance with local and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and in-service trainings
  • Utilize evidence-based practices for therapy sessions and progress monitoring
  • Offer support and strategies for communication disorders including articulation, fluency, voice, and language
