Ideal candidates will bring the following:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience with pediatric or elementary-aged caseloads preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team-centered approach
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct speech and language therapy services to elementary students
  • Completing thorough assessments and evaluations following district and state guidelines
  • Crafting and executing individualized education program (IEP) goals tailored to each student’s needs
  • Maintaining detailed records of progress and providing regular updates to families and staff
  • Collaborating with teachers, interventionists, and support professionals to maximize student outcomes
  • Participating in team meetings, including IEP meetings and parent conferences
  • Contributing to a positive and supportive school environment
