Key qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current or pending state licensure for SLP in North Carolina
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Capable of working independently and collaborating with educational teams

Primary responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and assist with evaluation processes
  • Develop targeted treatment plans and measurable goals
  • Monitor student progress, maintain detailed documentation, and report outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers and families
  • Focus strictly on therapy-related duties—no bus, lunch, or extra supervision required
