Support students in their communication development during the 2026/2027 school year as a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist on a 35-hour per week contract assignment near Randleman, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) who are passionate about making a difference in a school-based setting.

Your background should include:

  • Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or qualification as a CFY
  • Prior school-based SLP experience is highly valued, but not required
  • Strong collaboration abilities, including working with teachers, families, and other school professionals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to design and implement effective therapy intervention plans

In this role, you will:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students across grade levels
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Document progress and maintain thorough, timely records in accordance with all school and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic student support
  • Offer consultation and support for teachers and families regarding communication strategies
  • Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere in a school environment
